Educational Resource Design

Project Objectives:
This project was developed to enhance educational resources for oncology nursing within the BC Cancer setting. Its goal was to ensure that learning materials, including Learner Profiles and SWOT analyses, effectively reflect the diverse needs and experiences of nursing staff, while being suitable for both presentations and online use.

Research & Persona Development

This project began with the development of oncology nursing personas, followed by the creation of illustrated characters based on those personas. The personas evolved iteratively through team feedback and insights gained during the illustration process.

Learner Profile Design

The next phase involved designing Learner Profiles based on the finalized personas. Content was drafted and refined with feedback from BC Cancer subject matter experts who had completed or helped develop the Systemic Therapy Education Program.

SWOT Design & Layout

The next phase involved creating a SWOT analysis for each Learner Profile based on its corresponding persona, and refining the designs and layouts to ensure the designs were suitable for presentations and website use.
