Precision Medicine hero media

Precision Medicine

Editorial Journal Cover

Project Objectives:
This project was created for a competition to design the cover of the University of Toronto Medical Journal, themed “Precision Medicine” The goal was to translate the concept of Precision Medicine into a visually striking design using Blender and Photoshop, producing artwork suitable for both print and digital publication.

Research & Ideation

This project began with research into the theme “Precision Medicine” and its core concepts, including personalized healthcare, genetics, and patient-centered treatment. I developed sketches and mood boards to experiment with composition, symbolism, and concept.

3D Modelling

In Blender, I built 3D models to represent the key concepts of Precision Medicine, experimenting with shapes, scale, and spatial arrangement. Lighting and perspective were adjusted to enhance depth and focus, creating a composition that clearly conveys the theme .

Composition & Rendering

Arrangement, perspective, color, and lighting were refined in Blender, then editorial elements like typography and layout were polished in Photoshop to produce the final journal look.
