Managing Osteoporosis

Informational Booklet

Project Objectives:
Osteoporosis is a serious public health issue, yet many patients delay or discontinue treatment due to fear of side effects, limited awareness, and misconceptions. This increases their risk of fractures, disability, and reduced quality of life. Our project addresses this challenge through an informational booklet, designed in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, to provide clear, accessible guidance that encourages informed decision-making and better medication adherence.

Developed as a team final project in Term 1 of the BMVC program, it combines evidence-based content with visual communication to help lower the burden of osteoporosis.

Research & Ideation

We reviewed resources on osteoporosis to identify key misconceptions and barriers to treatment. From this, we sketched and tested visual ideas that shaped the direction of the booklet.

Composition & Rendering

We refined the layout to highlight key messages and applied a clean visual style. Final graphics were rendered in Illustrator and Photoshop to keep the design consistent and accessible.
